Droid Bionic Lands On Verizon

Wednesday, September 7th, 2011

Motorola is all set to drop its latest LTE handset on Verizon tomorrow. The much anticipated Droid Bionic has been in the works for over a year now, but based on the reviews it will be worth the wait. Here’s what it has:

  • 4.3″ qHD LCD screen with Corning Gorilla Glass
  • Dual-core 1GHz Processor (T1 OMAP chip)
  • 16GB or 32GB internal memory expandable with additional 16GB microSD
  • 1GB RAM
  • 8 MegaPixel camera and 1080p HD recording capability
  • Lapdock compatible (similar to Atrix)

With its $299 pricetage on a two year contract, it is competing directly with the top level iPhone. As Motorola’s Droid Bionic Fact Sheet States, “control it, and you control everything.”

Motorola Droid 3 Spotted

Tuesday, July 5th, 2011

While it’s not the first time we’ve seen the Droid 3 out in public, these are the first full 360 degree images we’ve seen leaked which means an official announcement and release should be within the next week with speculation as early as this Thursday. The Droid 3 will be similar in form factor to its Droid ancestry and feature a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard with some hardware boosts.

Expect the Droid 3 to feature a 4″ 960×540 qHD display along with a dual-core processor and 8 mega-pixel camera capable of recording HD video. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like the Droid 3 will support Verizon’s new 4G LTE network however, which could be a downer for some.
