SuperBowl Going CyberBowl?

Wednesday, December 21st, 2011

This year Superbowl XLVI will be streamed live over the Internet for the first time ever. The caveat of course, is that there is exclusivity involved. Verizon Wireless will be the only carrier to offer the streaming live to their users and subscribers can watch the game live provided they have phone support for NFL Mobile.

Alternatively, users can also stream the the Probowl and Wild Card Saturday games directly from NBC’s or the NFL’s websites. Online users will be able to see live stats, highlights and additional angles of the game. Looks like February 5th in Indianapolis will truly be viewed around the world.

Battle of the iPhones

Friday, October 21st, 2011

As both AT&T and Verizon announced their Q3 earning this week, Apple released their first official iPhone 4S commercial encouraging people across the world to “say hello to the most amazing iPhone yet.” Verizon wireless disclosed it sold a staggering 2 million iPhones during the third quarter, although this was still 35% less than AT&T’s reported 2.7 million iPhone sales.

Who Will Sell The Most iPhones?

Verizon blamed the pending 5th generation iPhone for slow sales as people waited to upgrade their device to the newest model along with the lack of a 3GS iPhone in their lineup as  the source of lower sales.

We’ll have to wait a full year to see which carrier really drives the most iPhone sales so until then, check out Apple’s official commercial below:
